Group Piano, ages 9-13

Our small group piano classes includes the same basics learned in the first year of private lessons in a dynamic, group setting. Many students prefer the commeradery and dynamics of group piano class, where learning can happen both directly (with the teacher’s corrections) and indirectly (by observing other students learning.) Students will learn about piano logistics, proper playing technique and posture, and work on playing simple songs, rhythm, ear training, improvisation, and beginning grand staff notation reading. 

Each student participates on their own full-length, 88 key weighted digital piano to provide maximum playing time during class.  The classroom is also equipped with an acoustic grand piano which all students will have the opportunity to play on.  

Group Piano A- Saturdays, 3-4pm January 11 through March 8, 2025 (no class 2/15 and 2/22)
Group Piano B - Saturdays, 3-4pm March 15 through May 24, 2025 (no class 3/22, 4/12 and 4/19)

4 participants maximum per class, all materials are included.

$328 for the 8-week sessions, materials included
